Biography :

Matt has been on staff with Amos Productions as part of the crew since 2009. He has a passion for music and loves to dance. Since Matt was younger he has loved entertaining his family and friends through the use of music and dynamic lighting. He loves putting together the perfect blend of music for any crowd! Matt enjoys meeting new clients and has fun helping them plan their celebration. He is very detailed oriented and adaptable to changing situations. Matt has a great personality and is very comfortable speaking in front of large groups. He was won many awards in his school years leading his school’s DECA chapter to National Championships. Now, Matt is finishing his second degree at California State University, East Bay this summer in Business Administration with an option in Corporate Management and a second option in Marketing Management. Since early 2012, Matt has built experience DJ’ing many Community Events, Private Parties, Class Reunions, and Weddings. He loves seeing people enjoy themselves and having a fun time! Matt is always happy to help clients with anything they need and provide an memorable experience tailored to the clients needs and wants. Planning a wedding in Livermore, California while living in Boston had its challenges working with AMOSPro and Matt was a fantastic experience. The Amos Productions team are the definition of professional and I would recommend them for any and every event. Matt McCarter was the DJ for our wedding at The Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon and he blew our expectations out of the water! Our ceremony was perfect, he kept our guests engaged the entire night and he even helped us with a surprise dance we put on for our guests. We had Matt McCarter as our level 3 DJ for our June wedding at Elliston Vineyards. He was great!! He arrived early, his MC skills all night were perfect, and he got our crowd of very mixed ages dancing! He even had to deal with a lot of weird song requests and it totally didn’t phase him. My dad and I had a special song with particular timing and Matt did a great job. Matt was extremely responsive to emails and calls and made the experience perfect. Our sound quality for the ceremony, speeches and the general flow of the evening was perfect. He worked great with all the other vendors and the event coordinator from Elliston too! I just got married at Garre Bella Rosa and had MattMcCarter as my DJ. Matt was exceptional! Not only was Matt a great DJ playing tons a great song that were based off of our selection and that also hyped up our guests but he also was there to provide my wife and I any help we needed throughout the wedding. He would constantly come up to my wife and I to check up on as and to make sure that we had everything we needed. Matt was very easy to work with. He was very consistent in responding to our emails and very helpful if we had any questions Also, We had a few hiccups throughout the day but Matt was able to work around it and keep the party going. I can honestly say that this was the most fun I’ve ever had at a wedding (yes, it was my own, but still). Any of the nerves I had beforehand quickly went away, as Matt kept things moving and stayed in communication with us throughout. He’s got a great voice for MCing, and I felt like he did a great job playing to the specific needs of the people on the dance floor. The last 1.5 hours just felt like an awesome dance party, which is what I wanted. Mattwas even nice enough to grab us some drinks when we were busy talking to guests!
