I’ve known Jody Amos (owner) for several years now.  Our kids went to the same schools, we played on softball teams together, we worked out at the same gym, and we took part in various fitness challenges like the Tough Mudder together.  Back in 2019, I responded to one of his posts about looking for event crew to work on the weekends.  Since I was a stay at home dad at the time, I was working late night jobs and on the weekend while my wife was home to take over.  I started out helping setup sound systems, lighting, photo booths for events, assisting our DJs, and then started to train to become a DJ myself.  In late 2020, Jody offered me a full time job as the Photo Booth manager and event tech that gave me the flexibility to balance my work and family life, which also gave me the opportunity to train more and learn quickly.

I love music and I love to dance, so DJ’ing was a great fit for my schedule as most events happen on weekends or weeknights.  Over the last couple of years, I have had the pleasure to play for a variety of events, including school and youth dances, corporate holiday parties and events, anniversary parties and more.  Now that I have completed a variety of courses that AMOSPRO offers, including the Event Management workshop, the AMOSPRO MC Workshop, Wedding DJ workshop, I am looking forward to “taking the stage” as a Wedding DJ!
